The Story of a Secondhand Smoker

“Finally I’m able to breath without coughing!!”

“Cigarette smoke has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My mom started smoking when she was 13, and when I was 21 I married a smoker. We were together until I turned 45 and I am 50 years old now. If I do the math correctly, this means that I have been a secondhand smoker for 45 years! And I am now paying the consequences, even though I never smoke cigarettes myself…

I have been suffering from many different allergies, asthma and a constant cough day and night.

Two years ago, I started working as a manager in a restaurant, but my allergic reaction to the cleaning products (especially chlorine) became worse and worse. The cough was constant and the pain in my chest became a part of my everyday routine.

I went to all kinds of specialists, but it made no difference…the cough and chest pain were still there!

Marcela was my last step, I didn’t know what else to do. She started the healing procedure with her hands, and at certain moment I could feel that her right hand was extremely warm. It was at that point that I could feel something was missing in my body, and I realized that I had gotten used to the chest pain so much that it didn’t even bother me anymore. It was a part of me. But at that moment, I noticed that it wasn’t with me anymore.

That afternoon I was feeling incredible relief!!!! And the most incredible part was that for the next few days, I noticed that I was not coughing and could not feel any pain in my chest!

Finally, I was able to breath without coughing!
